Wayne County Speedway set for 7th Annual Ohio Dirt Blowout this Weekend

The 2019 racing season is coming to a close with the 7th Annual two day Ohio Dirt Blowout this Friday and Saturday, September 20th and 21st with full racing programs on both nights. Friday night's action will see the drivers in the Super Late Model class that have Never Ever Won (NEW) a feature compete for a $1,000 to win feature presented by Twisted Metal Racing. Any driver who has never won a Super Late Model feature anywhere, is eligible to race. The Mini Stocks will race in a different format in that they will be racing for points in the heat races and feature on Friday night with regular pay out, that will set the line ups for Saturday's races and feature that will pay $2,500 to win on Saturday. Any driver that races on Saturday only will start at the back of the heat races and feature if they qualify for the feature on Saturday. The Super Stocks will also run a complete program on Friday night.

Joining in on Friday nights racing will be the Mod Lites and the Mini Trucks. The Mod Lites were scheduled earlier in the season but were rained out and the last time they were part of the ODB, it was 2014 and Rod Jones was the winner. The Mini Trucks will be making their first visit to 'Orrville's Historic Oval' since 2015 when Rolly Heyder made it two years in a row with victories.

Saturday's racing will see the OVSCA Sprints in for a $3,000 to win feature. Danny Mumaw and Broc Martin have posted the OVSCA wins at Wayne County Speedway this season. The Malcuit Tavern Super Late Model winner will pocket $2.000 for the win. The JOYRIDE Transport Mini Stocks will compete their two day show with the above mentioned $2,500 to win race. The McKenzie Concrete Super Stocks and the Modifieds will be in action for increased dollars. All features will be at least 25 laps in distance on Saturday night

Gates will open at 4 pm on both nights with racing starting at 7: 30 pm on Friday and the green flag will drop at 6 pm on Saturday.
