Butler, Mo: Friday Night at Electric City Speedway, Lone Jack, Missouri’s, Braydon Cromwell seized his second victory with the Wholesale Batteries USAC MWRA Non Winged Sprints in as many seasons when leader Kory Schudy blew a tire on the final circuit. Early leader, Wyatt Burks of Topeka (Ks) would come home in 2nd, with Dakota Earls of Independence, (Mo) picking up the final podium spot over Zach Clark, of Raymore, (Mo), and Taylor Walton of Odessa, (Mo) to complete the top 5.

Schudy, Battlefield, (Mo) running the Jon Sawyer Racing sprint car, wpuld finish 6th after coming from 5th to 1st, and leading until his right rear gave up following a green, white, checker, restart. With Garrett Hulsey, Lone Jack, (Mo) taking 7th, Wesley Smith, Nixa, (Mo) 8th, after starting 15th, Chad Winfrey, Gladstone, (Mo) 9th, and Michael Moore of Camden, (Mo), rounding out the top 10.

On a cold, crisp, evening, at ECS, Bonham, Texas, chauffeur Kobe Simpson, would take high point honors after winning heat race number one. While Burks held off Cromwell in the second heat for the win. And Schudy won the third heat over Winfrey, after a wild series of events that saw the JSR 28 cut a tire while leading. Followed by Schudy being hit by Winfrey coming out of the fourth turn, and then finally, Brad Wyatt making contact with Schudy to flip wildy in front of the start finish line. After changing both rear tires, Schudy would return to the fray to come from worst (5th) to first to win after going to the top and passing cars that included Winfrey on the last lap.

Meanwhile, the Valor Racing 41 of Wyatt was back in the pits being fixed, to unfortunately be involved in yet anpther incident in the feature where the Kearney, Missouri driver, was an innocent bystander, sending him to the pits for good. Wyatt was okay, but his mount received extensive damage.
