The Tony Stewart owned Ollie's Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions Sprints will invade Wayne County Speedway for two big shows over the Labor Day week end with a total of $17,000 in winners share up for grabs over the two days. On Sunday, it will be the Pete Jacobs Memorial that will pay the winner $12,000 for the ASCoC's. Pete Jacobs started work on May 1st, 1965 and had the track ready to open on June 26, 1965 and now the track has been holding races for the past 54 seasons. Since the Pete Jacobs Memorial has been raced on the Sunday of Labor Day week end, Sheldon Haudenschild won in 2015 and 2016 with Caleb Helms winning in 2017 and Tim Shaffer was last years winner.
It's a tight points battle between Dale Blaney and last years champion, Aaron Reutzel as only 20 points separate the two drivers. Kofoid was back at 'Orrville's Historic Oval' last Saturday night and cruised to the feature win. Dean Jacobs won the 2019 points championship this season with a total of 4 feature wins and along with the WCS regulars will give the traveling All Stars a battle on this week end. Joining in on the race action on Sunday will be the McKenzie Concrete Super Stocks and the JOYRIDE Transport Mini Stocks. The Ollie's Bargain Outlet All Star's will stay at Wayne County Speedway on Monday for the Rick Susong Memorial with a $5,000 to win feature. Susong was a sprint driver, a car owner and parts supplier for many years at a lot of Sprint car races throughout Ohio and Saturday night's at WCS before passing earlier this season. The Modifieds will be racing also on Monday.
