It's Hot Shoe 100 Weekend at Kinross Speedpark


Months of preparations and hard work will become a reality THIS WEEKEND when Fox Boyz Racing, the Kinross Speedpark and the ‘Gray Crew’ bring the 6th Annual Hot Shoe 100 to the quarter-mile asphalt oval.

The two-day event is undoubtedly the biggest event in the history of Kinross, and stock car racing in the Twin Sault area’s.

Highlighted by a $10,024 to win Modified feature, the event will feature racing in Modified, ABC Stock Car and Four Cylinder divisions.

PLUS, 25-year NASCAR veteran Kenny Wallace will be in attendance and compete in the Modified Division along with the ‘cars and stars’ from across the United States and Canada.

Wallace, a native of St. Louis, MO, previously spent his decorated career among the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup series, Xfinity Series and Gander Outdoors Truck series.

In total he competed in over 900 events before retiring in 2015.

On-track action kids off with open practice from 4 PM to 9 PM on Thursday, August 8th.

Racing action drops the green flag on Friday, August 9th with dashes and heat races starting with time trials at 4:30 PM and racing to follow at 7 PM.

Then on Saturday, August 10th it’s a full night of feature racing with action beginning at 6 PM.

Main grandstand admission pricing can be purchased either as a two-day pass (valid for both Friday and Saturday) or each day individually.

$25 USD / $30 CDN for Adult (18+) weekend pass or $15 USD / $18 CDN daily, $18 USD / $22 CDN for Senior (60+) and Student (12-17) weekend pass or $10 USD / $12 CDN daily while Kids 11 & Under are $5 USD / $6 CDN for a weekend pass or daily.

Fans will also have the opportunity to take part in a number of off-track events including meet-n-greet sessions along with plenty for the kids throughout the week.

Kinross Speedpark can be conveniently found by taking Exit 378 off I-75 and following the signs to the Chippewa County Fairgrounds.
