Southern All Star Will Try Thunderhill Again Saturday Night

The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by MaxFab will try it once again this Saturday night May 4th at the Thunderhill Raceway Park in Summertown, TN., for the inaugural King of the Hill 40 paying $4,000 to win along with a full racing program after the April 20th date was rained out and rescheduled to the My 4th date.

The Southern All Stars are returning to the 1/4mile oval for first time since 2017, when the series held three events there with those events were won by Brad Skinner, Dane Dacus and David Breazeale all three of those drivers are expected to be in action

Breazeale is the current Southern All Star points after five races so far this season, four time series champion Riley Hickman is in second place, current Cruise with the Champions/Dirtondirt.com Rookie of the Year leader Zach Leonhardi is third in points, Billy Franklin fourth in series points and defending series champion Jay Scott is fifth in series points, all those drivers are expected to bin in action.

Other drivers from across the region that are expected to be in attendance include Adrew Littleton, Brad Skinner, Christian Hanger, Josh Putnam, Tommy Taylor and Joseph Faulkner.

Pits gates will open at 3:00pm with drivers meeting, tech registration close at 6:00 pm, drivers meeting then hot laps with race time set for 6:30 pm.
