Mother Nature the Big Winner At Shady Bowl
DeGraff OH: Shady Bowl Speedway owner Rick Young was forced to cancel the racing program set for September 2nd as a result of rain, cold temps and wet grounds.
It will be Military Night at the Races on Saturday (9/9) with all active and retired military members admitted free to the grandstands. Proper ID is required.
On the track the street stocks will compete in a 50 lap feature with $1500.00 going to the winner. The compacts will compete in the fourth All American Challenge race. It is a 100 lap event paying $1000.00 to win. Just starting the event will pay $100.00. Larry Adams the 2015 winner and Josh Foltz the 2016 winner are expected to be on hand. Foltz is the 2017 season champion, dominating the class as he posted eleven feature wins in his Neon. Rob Sharpe was the winner of the first event. The modifieds and pure stocks will also do battle. Racing will begin both nights at 7.
