Saturday, May 12th Crossroads Dragway held their first VP Fuels Fast 33 @ the 330' race of the season. A full field qualified for the race, but in the end Nathan Smith, Brazil, IN was the winner. Chuck Corado, St. Bernice, IN was the runner-up with Eric Bonewell and Mike Wilson, both of Terre Haute, IN being the semi-finalists.
In Pro Class action, PJ THomas from Martinsville, IN was the winner over Thad Mann of Terre Haute, IN. Semi-finalists were Chad Eaton of Paris, IL and Joey Moore of Terre Haute, IN.
Super Pro Class winner was Corey Butler from Bement, IL over Eric Bonewell of Terre Haute, IN. Bob Wright from Oakwood, IL was the semi-finalist.
PJ Davenport of Terre Haute, IN won his second race in a row in Sportsman Class. Chris Walker of Paris, IL was the runner-up and Brian Bennett from Terre Haute, IN was the semi-finalist.
Republic Services High School Class winner was 2017 defending Champion Caleb Ramsey, Terre Haute, IN over Chris Mullins out of Lincoln, IL.
The Sycamore Engineering Junior Dragster Class was won by Michael Smith of Rosedale, IN over Matthew Spires from Dennison, IL. Semi-finalists were Kaden Bouchie of Washington, IN and Jessica Smith of Rosedale, IN.
Next weekend will be a Friday Fun Night along with a Scheid Diesel Friday Night. Gates open at 6 p.m. and time runs start at 6:30 p.m. The track closes at 10 p.m. On Saturday, ET Points racing will be held for Pro, Super Pro, Sportsman, High School and Junior Dragsters.
