DeGraff OH ( 9/28): Shady Bowl Speedway will close out its 2017 racing season with a full slate of stock car racing Saturday (9/30).
The modifieds will run a 40 lap feature with top spot paying $1000.00
to win. A team who has not raced at the Bowl this year will be given four free pit passes for their event. This applies to mods only.
The streets stocks will also be on the schedule but with a twist. Shady Bowl promoter Rick Young has torn all the pages except safety rules out of the rule book, making it a “Run What Ya Brung” event. If you ran as a street stock at your hometrack, you will be legal to run this Saturday after passing the safety inspection.
The pure stock-hobby stock cars, Bonanza Compacts, super compacts and spectator drags will finish off the night of speed. Racing will start at 7.
