Worlds Fastest Three Tenths Mile Paved Oval
DeGraff OH: It will be a full night of speed when five classes of stock cars will take to the Shady Bowl Speedway asphalt Saturday (9/2). The late models, modifieds, street stocks, pure stocks and compacts will tackle the 3/10th mile oval. It will be a regular program for all classes.
The event will serve as a tune up for the big program on 9/9. It will be Military Night at the Races on that date with all active and retired military members admitted free to the grandstands. Proper ID is required. On the track the street stocks will compete in a 50 lap feature with $1500.00 going to the winner. The compacts will compete in the fourth All American Challenge race. It is a 100 lap event paying $1000.00 to win. Just starting the event will pay $100.00. Larry Adams the 2015 winner and Josh Foltz the 2016 winner are expected to be on hand. Foltz is the 2017 season champion, dominating the class as he posted eleven feature wins in his Neon. Rob Sharpe was the winner of the first event. The modifieds and pure stocks will also do battle. Racing will begin both nights at 7.
#88 Josh Foltz of Medway and Dusty Harding #75 will be on hand at Shady Bowl Speedway Saturday to run a 20 lap feature. They will use the event as a tune up for the All American Challenge, a 100 lapper on 9/9
