KINROSS, MI- With the Independence Day & Canada Day festivities in the rearview mirror in the Twin Sault & Area, Fox Boyz Racing and the Kinross Speedpark invite all racing fans to their fourth event of the 2017 season.

This coming Sunday, July 9th the 1/4 mile asphalt oval will drop the green flag on another afternoon of local short track racing at a special price.

Following the success of there Fan Appreciation Day earlier this month, track officials have extended this deal for at least one more event.

Main Grandstand admission for this event is just $5 for Adults, Seniors & Students while Kids 11 & Under are ALWAYS FREE.

It’s no gimmick. You read that right. $5 for Adults, Seniors & Students.

The afternoon will include a FULL SHOW of racing action in Modifieds, ABC Stock Cars and Four Cylinders plus special events for the kids.

The youngest fans will take part in a Candy Toss at intermission while following the races they are encouraged to “Trick or Treat” through the pit area. It’s a great opportunity to meet the stars of the Speedpark off the track and solve that sweet tooth at the same time.

Time trials begin at 1:30 PM with racing action at 3 PM.

DUSTIN JACKSON (#4, Sault Ste. Marie ON) has extended his lead at the top of the Modified Division point standings to ten points (93-83) over Petoskey, Michigan competitor BUDDY GRAY IV (#24 JR). LEILA UHLMAN (#11, Sault Ste. Marie ON) and MARK PORPELIA (#28, Sault Ste. Marie ON) sit tied for the third position.

After his first-career ABC Stock Car feature win back on June 25, DENNIS AHO (#75, Sault Ste. Marie MI) has taken over the lead in the A-Division.

His 82-points is four more than JASON PRAYSNER (#5, Sault Ste. Marie ON) and five more than TONY RANKIN (#8, Kinross MI) who round out the top three.

The ABC Stock Car B-Division has a highly contested battle underway as well. Now with just three race nights at the Speedpark under his belt, Rookie of the Year contender BRANDON CARSON (#54, Petoskey MI) leads JOHN CARTER (#29, Sault Ste. Marie, ON) by just three points. Echo Bay, ON competitor JERRY ROSS (#01) holds down the third place position.

While with four checker flags on the season, including a pair of feature wins, BRENT FEWCHUK (#3, Sault Ste. Marie ON) leads two-time fast qualifier, and former two-time champion DON DANGLER III (#15, Sault Ste. Marie MI) in the Four Cylinder Division.

Desbarats, ON driver ROB WAGNER (#88) and Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario’s REBECCA FEWCHUK (#99) sit tied for the final podium spot.

Kinross Speedpark, the Twin Sault’s ONLY asphalt racing facility, is conveniently located at Exit 378 off the I-75 at the Chippewa County Fairgrounds.
