SPAL USA TEAMS WITH THE CONTINGENCY CONNECTION 03-24-2008 |
|
SPAL USA has partnered with The Contingency Connection to enhance brand awareness and demand for its electric cooling fans in the racing industry.
The Contingency Connection enables sponsors to reach thousands of racers and spectators a week at local sanctioned NASCAR, UMP, DIRT, SPRINT, NHRA and IHRA tracks as well as national race series - including UARA Late Model, ISCARS Dash Touring and Super Short Track Racing (SST) - by offering product certificates, track signage, decals on thousands of racecars and public address announcements.
"The Contingency Connection is an impressive and cost-effective means to get our name and line of cooling fans more widely recognized among the grassroots motorsports community," said Brent Clark, chief operating officer, SPAL USA. "SPAL fans are engineered and manufactured exclusively in-house. By controlling all aspects of design and production, we're able to offer racers a premium product."
Clark noted SPAL electric cooling fans can be found inside NASCAR, SCCA, IMCA, IHRA and NHRA racecars and are used as original equipment by some of the world's finest vehicle manufacturers, including Ferrari and Lamborghini.
Each week of the 2008 race season, SPAL USA will post product certificates at participating tracks where racers compete for these, and other, contingency awards. Winning racers displaying a "SPAL USA" decal on their vehicle are eligible to receive the prize.
"It's a fact that 80% of racers are weekly racers and The Contingency Connection is wired directly into their world," said Jackie Ressa, president, JRB Marketing Inc. "SPAL USA's commitment to these enthusiasts makes our partnership a natural fit and provides a perfect opportunity for them to build brand equity with this target market."
